Buster Jønsson

Buster Jønsson was raised on films, cartoons and comic books and never got over it. Born in Copenhagen in 1991, he taught himself how films are actually made long before anyone was paying him to. He then studied at the European Film College in Ebeltoft and came up through Copenhagen's agency scene - first in the cutting room, then behind the camera. No two of his films look alike. What they share is color that never gets turned down and a sense of timing that comes straight from the edit. Classic cinema, Japanese anime and comic books all feed the same appetite. He doesn't do ordinary, and he doesn't compromise. Nothing comes before the film.
